Job summary

Labcorp in Leesburg, VA is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient records. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm and Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm.

Pay range: $17.75–$26.00 per hour, with eligibility for our PST Incentive Plan. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Travel to additional sites when needed
