Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Alexandria, VA team. You will perform skilled blood collection, handle specimen processing, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with every other Saturday 8:00am–4:00pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement and stock purchase opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of phlebotomy training program; or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
