Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in the PSC or in-office PST, under the area supervisor. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (required in Louisiana).
• At least 1 year of prior job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately and courteously.
• Ensures phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens per established procedures and explains venipuncture clearly to patients.
• Disposes of biohazard fluids and sharps per laws and policies.
• Enters patient and billing information into PathConnect and other systems.
