Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy and specimen collection experience.
• Attention to data accuracy and documentation.
• Ability to explain procedures to patients and reassure them.
• Commitment to safety, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately and treats all customers courteously.
• Ensures specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens and explains venipuncture procedures clearly and calmly.
• Disposes of biohazards and sharps per laws and policies.
• Enters patient and test information into computer systems with high accuracy.
• Maintains records, logs, and periodic statistics.
