• Greets customers and treats customers courteously
• Collects specimens accurately and on time
• Explains venipuncture process clearly and calms patients
• Disposes of biohazard fluids and contaminated sharps per laws
• Completes requisitions in PathConnect and other PathGroup systems
• Enters patient, specimen, insurance, or billing data accurately
• Matches requisition forms to specimens; labels, centrifuges, and freezes as required
• Packages specimens for transport and maintains specimen integrity and temperature
