Responsibilities

• Greets customers appropriately.
• Ensures all field phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Collects specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process clearly.
• Disposes of blood or biohazard fluids or tissue per laws and policies.
• Completes requisitions accurately in PathConnect and other PathGroup applications.
• Enters patient, specimen, insurance, or billing information with high accuracy.
• Maintains daily PSC/IOPST logs and records.
