Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician to perform daily patient service activities in the PSC or office setting. The role involves forensic and clinical specimen collection, processing duties, and interactions with clients and patients in a professional manner.

You will collect specimens, document accurately in PathConnect, and maintain records while ensuring safety and compliance. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; phlebotomy certification is preferred in some states.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification preferred (Louisiana requires).
• Experience in patient-facing roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and provide professional service.
• Ensure all phlebotomy and PSC specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly to patients.
