Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time donor screener/phlebotomy support to ensure safe donor interactions and accurate record keeping. You will handle donor intake, vital signs, and documentation while maintaining high service levels.

Responsibilities include using our Donor Information System, coordinating donor compensation, and supporting center operations. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential to meet donor demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1+ year minimum experience in a customer or patient facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and service.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for center process improvements and initiate changes per approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to support operations.
