Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services, LP seeks a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomy helper to support center operations. You will interact with donors daily, ensure safety, and document vital signs and donor data with the Donor Information System.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to stand for long periods, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, with a supportive team and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the full shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
• Lift up to 5 lbs, occasional 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; hearing equipment from distance.
• 90% of tasks involve glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
• 1+ year in a customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen donors and record vital signs and finger stick results.
• Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation using the information system.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement approved changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
