Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations in a role that emphasizes customer service and safety. You will participate in donor screening, perform phlebotomy, and work with the Donor Information System to manage donor data and compensation.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to stand for long periods, and availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on rare occasions.
• Experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
