Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team in Baltimore, MD at a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and provide exceptional customer service, representing Labcorp with professionalism.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 10:00am–3:00pm with every other Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training; 1+ year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
