Job summary

Labcorp in Hampstead, MD is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center role. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and represent Labcorp with professionalism at the point of care.

The position offers Monday–Friday mornings with occasional Saturdays, opportunities for growth within Labcorp, and a strong service-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Travel to additional sites as needed; able to pass color vision or color blindness test if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
