Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as the face of Labcorp. Growth opportunities within the organization are available.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training. The schedule is Monday–Saturday, variable, up to 19 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
