Job summary

Labcorp in Clinton, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.

The role may include data entry, billing support, and specimens preparation; requires HS diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, with 6 months experience preferred. Schedule Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
