Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist in Odenton, MD, to join our patient service center. You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate data entry, and contribute to a high standard of patient care and service.

Typical schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm with every other Saturday 8:00am-2:00pm, and a pay range of $17.75-$26.00 per hour. Opportunities for growth and a strong benefits package are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
