Job summary

Labcorp in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Phlebotomist to join the Patient Service Center team. The role focuses on skilled specimen collection, exceptional customer service, and representing Labcorp to patients and clients.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:30am–2:30pm, with every other Saturday as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; phlebotomy certification or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of training program or 3+ months experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
