Job summary

Labcorp in Catonsville, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections, handle specimen processing, and provide outstanding patient service in a Monday–Friday schedule with potential Saturdays as assigned.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with preference for 1 year+ phlebotomy experience. Travel to additional sites may occur.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3+ months experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
