Labcorp in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques and provide friendly, professional service to patients throughout the collection process.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Weekend coverage and occasional travel to other sites may be required, with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned.
