Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled blood collection, provide excellent customer service, and support specimen handling and data entry. The role includes travel to additional sites and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with 3 months experience acceptable. A strong commitment to accuracy and patient care is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program, or 3 months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.
• Accurately enter patient information into systems.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
