Job summary

Labcorp in Clinton, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in a Patient Service Center or Client office. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering excellent customer service to patients.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Must have phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months of experience. Great growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
