Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Vernon, NJ team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, enter patient data accurately, and provide excellent patient service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience. Schedule is Mon–Fri 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating Saturdays; travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Willing to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
