Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Newark, DE (Ogletown). The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires phlebotomy certification or training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to travel to additional sites. Monday–Friday 8:00am–2:30pm with rotating Saturdays, opportunities for growth, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
