Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Sewell, NJ. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry and patient record maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or completed training program; 1+ year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
