Job summary

Labcorp in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing support as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; a phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
