Labcorp in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional customer service. Travel to additional sites may be required as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp’s extensive network. A phlebotomy certification or hands‑on training is preferred, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
