Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. You will perform skilled specimen collections and deliver excellent patient service while representing the company professionally. The role requires accuracy in data entry, specimen handling, and the ability to travel to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy certification or related training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or training; 3 months phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 1 year+ phlebotomy experience with strong customer service.
• Able to pass color vision tests and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for screens and tests including drug and alcohol.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
