Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center. You will perform blood collections, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients. Opportunities for growth exist within the organization.

The role requires phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred, with flexibility for overtime and travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Able to pass a color blindness test and pass standard background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and tests as required.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen data.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
