Job summary

Labcorp in Centreville, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team and provide exceptional blood collection services. You will work in a Patient Service Center or client office, performing venipuncture and capillary draws and maintaining precise patient data.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate data entry, and collaboration with team members to ensure quality testing and timely results. Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience are acceptable minimums.
• 6 months+ phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug tests, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
