Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, skilled specimen collection, and a path for growth within the organization.

You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, and assist with billing as needed. The position requires a valid phlebotomy credential, strong communication, and flexibility with schedules and travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to pass a color vision test; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned
