Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Edgewater, MD. This role entails performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, with data entry, billing support, and specimen preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to other sites as needed.
