VillageMD in Purchase, NY is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our physician-led network. The role focuses on aseptic blood culture collection, specimen handling, and LIS documentation, with cross-site support as needed.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, 0-4 years of experience, and BLS certification. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and a commitment to accurate, compassionate patient care.

Competenze

• High School Graduate/GED required.
• 0-1 years experience. 2-4 years preferred.
• HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication, and team player skills required.

Mansioni

• Uses aseptic technique to draw blood cultures.
• Processes Stat specimens per SOP.
• Prepares collection containers and provides home collection instructions.
• Collects and processes Urine & Stool specimens.
• Administers and collects H. pylori Breath test.
• Handles orders on minors and proper documentation.
