Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 116 East Liberty Street Girard, Ohio. The role supports patient service centers or client offices with skilled specimen collection and positive patient interactions.

Schedule is part-time: Tue–Fri 7:30am–11:30am and Sat 9:00am–2:00pm, with potential travel to additional sites. Requires high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, plus relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
