Job summary

Labcorp in Girard, Ohio is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 116 East Liberty Street. You will perform blood collection and specimen handling with accuracy and professionalism in a patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or phlebotomy certification or training, or 3+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
