Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Orient, Ohio. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and accurate data entry. You will work in a patient-facing environment with opportunities for growth within Labcorp’s comprehensive network.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or at least 3 months of experience). Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, or completed training program, or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
