Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Boardman PSC 22 McClurg Rd, Youngstown, OH 44512. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30 am-12:30 pm with rotating Saturdays at Canton PSC.

You will perform venipuncture/capillary collections, process specimens, and deliver excellent patient service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience; 2+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
