Job summary

Labcorp in Middletown, OH is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle specimens, and provide friendly, accurate service to diverse patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with a preference for 2+ years of experience. We offer a stable schedule, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Work days are Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program required or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
