Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at 116 East Liberty Street Girard, Ohio. The role involves blood collection, data entry, and patient-focused service in a patient service center or client office location.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, billing support, and occasional travel to other sites. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; two years phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Two years or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
