Labcorp in Girard, Ohio is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, handle specimen processing and data entry, and provide compassionate service at multiple sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with preference for 2+ years of experience. Schedule includes Tue-Fri mornings and Saturday shifts; travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
