Job summary

Labcorp in Prince Frederick, MD is hiring a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and provide excellent patient service in a patient service center or client office. You will collect specimens, enter data accurately, and support billing processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, or relevant experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–12:00pm with rotating Saturdays; benefits include

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
