Labcorp in Greenbelt, MD seeks a Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen handling in a client office setting. You will provide friendly customer service, collect samples by venipuncture and capillary methods, and ensure accurate data entry and proper specimen processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or relevant experience). Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with an every-other-Saturday shift, and a comprehensive

Competenze

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or experience as a phlebotomist.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred or required.

Mansioni

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
