Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Grafton, OH site with a 5:00am–1:30pm schedule. You will perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain accurate patient records.

The role supports diverse patient ages and may require travel to additional sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or related training; 2+ years' phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
