Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Elkridge, MD. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm, with Saturdays as assigned. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide excellent patient service, and support the lab’s operations in a patient service center.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, specimen preparation, and teamwork across shifts. Travel to additional sites may be required; incentive plans may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned
