Job summary

Labcorp in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, enter data accurately, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend participation, competitive pay ($17.75–$26.00/hour), a PST Incentive Plan, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp's

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Other Duties as assigned
