Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Westminster, MD. You will perform blood collection and provide exceptional service while supporting testing workflows in a busy healthcare setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–1:00pm with every other Saturday 7:00am–11:00am; pay ranges from $17.75 to $26.00 per hour with PST incentive eligibility. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k) and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned
