You will perform venipunctures, operate plasmapheresis equipment, monitor donor safety, document accurately, and support training initiatives while adhering to FDA/OSHA/CLIA/GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Any applicable state certification/licensing per state requirements.
• Minimum three months experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal protocols.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation complies with state and federal regulations (FDA, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
• Maintain high level of customer service and donor experience.
• Keep work area clean and professional.
• Verify donor identification and confidentiality.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
• Label samples and units accurately.
• Perform venipunctures and plasmapheresis while maintaining safety and quality.
• Operate plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms or events.
• Monitor donor safety and donor comfort throughout procedures.
• Dispose of biohazardous waste and manage equipment cleaning.
• Conduct regular calibration/maintenance of machines.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
