Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Front Desk Specialist to deliver venipuncture and clinical support while ensuring an exceptional patient experience at multiple Wake Forest offices. You will manage front desk tasks, assist with lab duties, and collaborate with providers and a virtual care team to remove barriers to care.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and proficiency with EMR systems and office software.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Clear written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency with standard computer systems and multiple software platforms
Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams
Demonstrated empathy and patient-focused care

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and basic clinical support for patients
Greet patients and manage front desk activities and schedule flow
Handle clinical tasks such as vitals, EKGs, vaccines and minor specimen collection
Label, process and track specimens with proper documentation
Respond to patient messages and support providers with clerical tasks
Maintain lobby appearance and ensure smooth patient experience
Operate and navigate One Medical tech stack and EMR systems
