Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) for our Boston Seaport location. You will perform venipuncture and provide clinical and front-of-house support, delivering a warm, member-centric experience.

You will handle patient intake, scheduling, billing knowledge, and lab follow-ups while collaborating with providers and the virtual medical team. Benefits and a strong team culture accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with common computer systems and software
• Experience working on collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to stay confident and professional during collection
• Adaptability to change and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Apply the C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience
• Perform venipuncture and other clinical support tasks for all ages
• Assist with extended scope duties (non-blood collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, etc.)
• Label, handle, and store specimens; manage inventory and sterilization
• Respond to patient messages and assist providers with clerical tasks
• Handle front-of-house duties including check-in/out and insurance verification
• Participate in team huddles and support office providers with ad hoc requests
• Open/close duties and maintain space cleanliness; restock supplies
• Become proficient with our tech stack (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation, RingCentral, EMR)
