Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) at one of our offices to provide venipuncture and clinical support and to ensure a positive in-office patient experience.

You will be the first contact for patients, handle front desk duties, support with billing and scheduling, and collaborate with providers and the virtual medical team using tools like Slack, G-suite, Zoom and the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Venipuncture experience with strong specimen collection technique.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in patient interactions.
• Strong patient service orientation with empathy and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and other clinical support duties as needed.
• Manage patient intake, same-day schedule, and follow-up scheduling.
• Assist with billing, insurance inquiries and outreach tasks as necessary.
• Handle front desk duties including check-in/out and verification.
• Maintain lab and office supplies, labeling and sterilization.
• Answer patient messages and support providers and virtual team with clerical tasks.
• Utilize Slack, G-suite, Zoom, Circulation and EMR to complete daily work.
