Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Montpelier, OH team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages, with responsibilities that include data entry, specimen handling, and patient service.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with a Saturday rotation. The role offers the opportunity to travel to additional sites as needed and contributes to Labcorp's commitment to accurate diagnostics and patient care.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or training required.
• Excellent customer service skills preferred.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
