Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification (state required).
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab/hospital.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Decontaminate and update patient information as required.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients; demonstrate technique.
• Match requisitions to specimens and package for transport.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings.
• Respond to inquiries and review lab results as needed.
